Kirsten Suchan
Kamila Swiatek
Kirsten’s passion for running began early, sparked by the annual tradition of participating in the Manitoba Marathon with her dad every Father’s Day. She went on to race middle-distance events for the University of Saskatchewan track team. During dental school, her love for longer distances grew, leading her to focus on half and full marathons.

Now a practicing dentist, Kirsten finds her greatest joy in racing everything from 10Ks to ultramarathons. She is a UESCA-certified running coach who emphasizes sustainable training, proper fueling, and building mental resilience. Her coaching philosophy centers on helping runners find confidence and joy in the process.

Kirsten’s race highlights include breaking 3 hours at the Boston Marathon and earning podium finishes at the Calgary Marathon in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.
Kamila’s love for running began in primary school, collecting popsicle sticks for every lap around the field during cross-country practice. It was a fun way to be part of the school community — and the experience evolved into a lifelong passion for the sport. From early on, she fell in love with the energy and excitement of race day.
Over the years, she’s completed races around the world, and in 2018, she ran her first marathon — an experience that sparked a deeper passion for goal setting, structured training, and seeing what she was capable of. In the years that followed, she experienced firsthand how working with a coach can help break through mental barriers and unlock potential — and she was inspired to offer that same support to others.
Kamila is a UESCA-certified running coach who believes in balancing the joy that running brings with smart progression and intentional goal setting. Her coaching philosophy centers on sustainable growth, helping athletes stay consistent, build confidence, and achieve bold goals — all while keeping the spark that made them fall in love with running in the first place.
When she’s not running, you can find her hiking in nature or enjoying a pint with friends at a local brewery.
